Tough times for the U.S. Postal Service. It lost $8.5 billion dollars last year, and has eliminated 105,000 full time jobs over the past 2 years. Now, it's offering more buyouts to cut more positions to save money. It's also looking to close as many as 2,000 post offices nationwide, which include several in the Ozarks, and residents in Gepp, Arkansas worry theirs will be shuttered soon. Going in the mail Friday is a petition with 400 signatures to the Postmaster General to keep Gepp on its route. It may be the end of June before Gepp learns the fate of its post office.
