BACKSIDE OF DEEP EAST-COAST STORM FINALLY LEAVING

Wednesday's gloom lingered into today... but the drier air is finally making progress over the Ozarks. By the end of this afternoon, the majority of the Ozarks will be under a clear sky.The dry air is moving in on a gusty Northwest wind... and that's lowered the general comfort level of the day a bit. Wind chill values are noticed about 10º or so below the actual temperature.

With winds becoming calm... or nearly so... and a clear, dry sky overhead. Expect temperatures to drop close to freezing again. And as you become excited about working in the yard tomorrow and weekend, remember that the average last frost is normally found around Tax Day... or mid April.FANTASTIC FRIDAY AHEAD

Nothing tough about this forecast for Friday! You'll recall I picked Friday as the best day of the week for the Snidely Stamp O' Approval Day. With highs in the low to mid 60s and a mainly sunny sky, you can't go wrong taking a few minutes outside tomorrow.WEEKEND OUTLOOK

Temps won't be as warm as Friday... but they won't be as cold as Wednesday or today. A cold front is on the way... and it may stir up some showers, but it will still feel like Spring in the Ozarks with highs in the 50s.
