Search group recommends 6 candidates for Springfield City Utilities general manager

The Springfield City Utilities general manager search committee has chosen six candidates to replace retiring General Manager John Twitty.  The finalists will be contacted, and CU will decide next week whether to disclose their names.  The Board of Public Utilities hopes to name a new general manager in early May.  In December Twitty said he would retire in June.  The utility has received more than 100 applications during a nationwide search.
