Here Comes the Rain Again

The next storm is now developing to our southwest.  Clouds will cover the Ozarks tonight and obscure our view of the space shuttle.  Rain will develop by morning.  Temperature's tonight are expected to dip briefly into the upper 30s.  A fairly stiff breeze will blow tonight from the southeast at 10-20 mph.

Rainy Days and Tuesday's

The storm is forecast to roll across the plains during the day Tuesday.  Excellent lifting and moisture fetch from teh gulf will lead to periods of rain and occasional thunder.  The threat for severe weather is minimal and confined mainly to Arkansas, still any storm that does produce lightning will be capable of producing small hail.

The Rest of the Week

Cold air will dive into the Ozarks on Wednesday keeping temperatures in the 30s for much of the day.  A few flurries can not be ruled out around Rolla however no accumulation is expected.  Sunshine returns on Thursday but does little to affect the cold air.  Warmer readings return by Friday with highs again reaching 60.  Next weekend at this point looks dry with highs in the mid to upper 50s.
