TULSA, Okla. -- A man Springfield will make his first court appearance on Monday on a charge of robbing a bank. Officers arrested Carlton Saunders, 32, in Tulsa on Friday after they say he held up an Arvest Bank in nearby Bartlesville.
Investigators say Saunders handed the teller a note demanding cash, grabbed the money and took off. No weapon was displayed during the robbery.
Tulsa police spotted his car later that day. Saunders led police on a short chase before being stopped and arrested.
