DALLAS COUNTY, Mo. - A Wyoming couple is traveling through the Ozarks on a cross-country journey promoting plans for a ranch offering emotional healing.

Richard and Jeannette McGrath started in California one year ago, and they're now a little more than halfway to their destination of Washington, D.C.  Their 4,000-mile trek is taking them through southwest Missouri this month.

Their mission is to raise awareness and funding for a ranch for those needing emotional healing.  The plan for 'Hearts Up Ranch' is to use horses and trail-riding as a form of therapy.

It'll cost $2-million dollars for the building project.

The McGraths have set goals for each state they're passing through.  They hope to raise $12,000 in the Show-Me-State.

You can track the couple's progress online. The Hearts Up Ranch website includes a GPS program marking their location at all times.  A daily blog also provides details about the project.
