Federal jury convicts man from Monett for selling meth

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A man from Monett will spend at least five years in prison for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and weapons crimes.  Roberto Rodriguez was convicted on Friday on charges in a five-count federal indictment.

Investigators say Rodriguez was caught with more than 50 grams of meth during his arrest last year.  The crime carries a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison without parole.   His sentencing hearing is not scheduled.
