Judge denies lower bond for former teacher convicted of having sex with a student

March 04, 2011|by Brian Vandenberg, KY3 News | newsalerts@ky3.com

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A former Greenfield High School teacher who pleaded guilty to having sex with a student in 2009 remained in jail on Friday night.  Earlier in the day a Greene County judge turned down a request by her attorney to lower the $75,000 bond for Alison Peck.

Greene County Circuit Judge Calvin Holden raised Peck's bond after her parole officer said she violated the terms of her probation by using drugs, getting kicked out of a sex offender counseling program, and failing to register on time as a sex offender with the Greene County Sheriff's Department.
