Pots de creme 2/17/11

8 ounces of your favorite chocolate chip
1 cup of heavy cream
2 tablespoons of sugar
4 egg yolks
1 teaspoon of vanilla

In a medium sauce pan over medium-low heat, heat the heavy cream.  Add the chocolate chips sugar.  Stir until chocolate is completely melted, smooth and hot.  Slowly stir chocolate mixture into bowl with egg yolks in it.  Add vanilla. 

Pour into four separate serving dishes.  Chill for 20 or more minutes. 

Recipe serves four.
