12-hour forecast
Good morning. Snow has moved out of the area for the most part, but flurries continue. Clearing has pushed into western Missouri and temperatures have dropped dramatically there. The cold will continue to rush in and we'll see many locations only reach the upper teens again today. Clouds will break some but will tend to fill back in at times and drop flurries now and then. The wind will be very gusty so wind chills will be in the single digits. That will worsen tonight as actual temperatures drop into the single digits. High pressure will move directly overhead by Thursday morning and those with several inches of snow will likely drop to zero or below. A warming trend then ensues with low 40s by the weekend. Though models continue to shift a bit another shot of cold air is likely at some point early next week.
