Clear Cool Night Ahead

A clear sky combined with very dry air will allow temperatures to drop quickly this evening.  A light south wind should keep temperatures a bit warmer than last night when we dipped to 11 degrees.

A Quiet Week

Several disturbances will move across the country this week.  Cloud cover will come and go with each system.  Moisture is lacking so I do foresee any rain or snow for some time.  Temperatures will fluctuate with the passage of each system and for much of the work week be fairly typical of early January.

The Weekend Cool Down

It seems as if the weather pattern this winter has featured warm weather during the week and cold weather for the weekends.  Unfortunately this pattern will continue this week.  Colder weather will begin drifting in on Friday and get much colder by Sunday.  The long range charts indicate even colder weather possible for early the following week.

Sunny Skies,
