SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Missouri Valley Conference commissioner has put an emphasis on its basketball teams scheduling good teams on the road.  Oklahoma State meets that criteria.

The Missouri State Bears (6-2) will put their four-game winning streak on the line on Saturday night when they face the Cowboys (7-1) in Stillwater.  Oklahoma State has a three-game winning streak.  You can see the game live on KY3 at 7.

Junior forward Kyle Weems leads the Bears balanced attack in scoring at nearly 15 points per game.  Missouri State senior and Oklahoma-native Will Creekmore averages 12 points.

Cowboys counter with forward Marshall Moses.  Moses averages nearly a double-double this season, scoring nearly 18 points and grabbing nine rebounds per game.  Outside scoring threat guard Keiton Page averages 14 points per game.

The Bears and Cowboys have two common opponents, both played on the road.  Oklahoma State defeated the Tulsa Golden Hurricane 71-54 on Wednesday night.  Tulsa defeated the Bears 62-50.  However, the Golden Hurricane played without star center Steven Idlet against the Cowboys.  Both schools beat Central Arkansas.  The Bears dominated the UCA at home 101-61. The Cowboys struggled, beating UCA 69-57.

Oklahoma State holds a 5-0 all-time series lead against the Bears.  The Cowboys last beat the Bears 73-70 in overtime in an early season 2006 tournament on South Padre Island.
