FIX THE BAD LIGHTS AND WIRE-WRAP THE WREATH

Clouds won't contain the warm before the storm tomorrow, but it will certainly try to limit the amount of warmth we enjoy.  Expect a Southerly breeze tonight and Friday to help daytime temperatures move into the low 50s... clearly the nicest day in the next seven days.  Use it wisely.

Travel forecast

RAIN FOR SATURDAY
Rain showers will begin as early as Saturday morning... but a growing chance for rain develops through the midday and afternoon as a cold front plows into the Ozarks through the early afternoon.

The best chance of rain will be in the Eastern Ozarks, but for all of us... we'll be watching the cold air slam into the warm, moist air.  There looks to be a brief time where rain may mix with sleet, perhaps snow.  But sizable accumulations don't look likely at this time.

SUNDAY'S WIND, CHILL AND FLURRY

KY3 Three Day OutlookSunday looks bitterly cold.  Air coming off the Canadian tundra will move over the Ozarks and the Midwest sending daytime highs into the 20s.  Worse... the Northwest winds blowing up to 20 miles per hour will create a wind chill in the subzero range overnight... and in the single digits during the day.

For those of you desperately seeking snow, expect some... but not much.  I'd expect a passing snow shower or flurry from time to time Saturday overnight and especially Sunday.  But the best storm dynamics for snow... especially the kind that makes inches of snow... won't be in place for our backyards this time.

Did I mention that it's going to be cold?

Enjoy your weekend,
