BRANSON, Mo. -- Some Branson High School students are reaching out to help with a humanitarian effort in Ethiopia.  Their fundraising effort is called "The Pirates Dig a Well."

"Our goal is to raise $10,000 through three fundraisers," said teacher Michael Gibson.

The students hope to build a well in a village neart Ethiopia's capital of Addis Ababa.

The first fundraiser is going on now through Nov. 28.  Students are collecting change at the high school.

The second fundraiser is a silent auction at the Payne Stewart Golf Club on Jan. 22.

"We're still in need of donated items for this event," said Gibson.

The last fundraiser will be Run 4 Water on April 2 at Dogwood Canyon.
