Crosslines opens office for holiday assistance in Springfield, MO

Applicants can make one visit to cover both Thanksgiving and Christmas

October 26, 2010|by Paula Dowler, KY3 News | newsalerts@ky3.com

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Crosslines is now taking applications for families in Greene County who need assistance for the holidays.  Families who qualify can receive help with food and toys that they would not otherwise be able to afford.

The applicant needs to provide a picture ID and a Social Security number for everyone in their household.  Crosslines is trying to streamline the process this year by requiring just one application for both Thanksgiving and Christmas help.   The coordinator says, because the application office is on the southeast side of the city, and many of the recipients are on the north side, Crosslines wanted to make it one stop for Thanksgiving and Christmas food help and the Toy Store.

Crosslines is taking applications for Holiday Help through Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Holiday Center in the Southern Hills Shopping Center at 2956 E. Sunshine. The hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
