COLUMBIA, Mo. - Not one, but two Missouri Tigers earned Big 12 Player of the Week honors following the win against the then BCS #1 Oklahoma Sooners.

Mizzou junior quarterback Blaine Gabbert has been named Co-Offensive Player of the Week.  Gabbert finished 30-42 for 308 yards a touchdown.  Gabbert completed 8 of nine passes for 95 yards and a touchdown in the fourth quarter.  The Ballwin, Missouri native shares the award with Nebraska freshman quarterback Taylor Martinez.

The conference named Ghan McGaffie its unlikely special teams player of the week.  McGaffie set the tone for Mizzou returning the opening kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown.  It was the first kickoff return for a touchdown for Missouri since 2008.
