WILD ABOUT THE MILD
It's not unusual to see a brief warming trend in mid October... after the frost and before another big chill. Some know that as "Indian Summer". Perhaps this is our 2010 version of that?
WARMING TREND CONTINUES
There's no question about it... it's warming into your weekend. Highs should punch past 80º in most places tomorrow and hold above or close to that mark through Sunday... even as another dry, cold front moves through (again).
CLOUDS COME WITH IT
The next storm system is clearly seen over the Western US, but won't be close enough to affect the Ozarks until Sunday or Monday. There's a chance someone might see a drop as it's passing through, but we're keeping the forecast dry for now... as the forecast models have been overplaying the moisture available to the Ozarks recently. Plan for fair weather clouds... and slightly cooler, Fallish weather.
