SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – An armed man robbed the Walgreen Drug Store on Kearney Street at Kansas Expressway on Tuesday morning. He took off after getting some prescription medication. He fled in a vehicle driven by another person.
Witnesses told police that the man wore a scarf, approached the pharmacy counter, showed a handgun and demanded drugs.
