OSAGE BEACH, Mo. – City police say a fight involving four intoxicated people at a motel room resulted in stab wounds to at least two of them on Saturday night. Police got involved after one of them went to the hospital in Osage Beach for treatment early Sunday.
Police say the four people – two men and two women -- are from Kansas City, Kan. The two men suffered knife wounds to their necks, according to a news release from the Osage Beach Police Department. One sought treatment at the hospital but the other, who fled from the hospital before police arrived, didn't. Police found him later in the day.
One woman fled and police haven’t found her. Police say the other three people said all four of them passed out in their motel room, and say they don’t remember how they became injured.
Police are continuing to investigate. No one was charged as of midday Monday.
