SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Eight people, including five children, are recovering after their van rolled over on U.S. 65 near Chestnut Expressway on Thursday night. It happened around 10 p.m. Witnesses say the van made a hard right turn and went off the road, flipping several times.
Police say the crash was not weather-related. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The passengers were all taken to hospitals with minor injuries.
