Party Pizza Squares

2 pounds of pork sausage

1 pound of processed cheese

1 tablespoon of catsup

1 teaspoon of oregano

¼ teaspoon of garlic salt

10 ounces of pizza sauce

2 loaves of party rye bread

grated Parmesan

Brown sausage and drain. Stir in cheese and catsup, cooking until melted. Stir in oregano and garlic salt.

Spread each slice of bread with pizza sauce. Top with sausage cheese mixture. Bake on a cookie sheet at 450 in a preheated oven for 10 minutes until bubbly.

Makes about 3 dozen.

Smoky Sweet Chicken Wraps

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 pound of sliced bacon

2/3 cup of packed brown sugar

2 Tablespoons of chili powder

Cut chicken breasts into 8 chunks each. Wrap each chunk with 1/3 strip of bacon. Combine brown sugar and chili powder. Dredge wrapped chicken chunks in brown sugar mixture.

Place on parchment lined jelly roll pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until bacon is crisp.

Makes about 30 appetizer bites.

Sweet Little Piggies

1 can of crescent dough

1 pack of Lil’ Smokies

1 pound of bacon

2/3 cup of brown sugar

¼ cup of melted margarine

Unroll crescent dough and cut into 2-inch x 1/4-inch strips. Roll smokies in dough strips and place on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 6-10 minutes until puffed and golden brown.

Combine melted margarine and brown sugar. Brush over hot piggies and serve.

Makes about 30 appetizer bites.
