Ingredients2medium apples1/2 cupbrown sugar1 stickbutter1spice or carrot cake mixture
Preheat oven. Cut apples into small pieces.
Place apples in the bottom of a well oiled 9-inch spring form
pan. Place softened butter and brown sugar on top of apples
and press mixture down until all brown sugar is moistened by the
butter and apples. Pour cake batter over top of the apples,
brown sugar and butter. Cook until toothpick inserted into
center of cake comes out clean (30-35 minutes). When cake is
finished cooking, allow it to cool slightly. Turn cake over
and remove from pan so apple mixture is on top.
